Mind-body counseling looks at the sensations, movements, and experiences that arise in us.

What to expect
Consultation
A free 20-minute video call to learn more about each other to see if we’re a good fit.
This can be a time to get to know each other more, talk about your current goals and challenges, discuss my background and approach and to answer any questions you may have.
Session
A 60-minute video call to delve into what’s happening for you. Sessions can go in many directions. I like to start sessions with a tuning in practice; a body scan and/or a brief mindful pause. I find that this cultivates a container for openness and curiosity. From there, we can use a blend of open dialogue, mindful practices, body awareness, parts work and co-regulation to help you with your goals. I come from a trauma-informed background, so please know all sessions will go at a pace that is beneficial for your healing.
Cancellation Policy
Please know that reserving a session is securing a time that other eager people might want. I ask you to honor a cancellation fee of half the session cost if you cancel under 24 hours. Please let me know if sickness or an emergency is preventing you from joining our session – I understand that life happens.
Meet Megan
I use a variety of techniques in my practice to best meet your current needs. Most of my studies have been centered around psychology, mindfulness, focusing and somatics. These techniques can help work towards active, open attention to the present moment to live a more connected and embodied life.
